Implementation of Almexoft+Document AI for Żabka Polska

Project Start

As part of the Startup Booster by Huge Thing acceleration program aimed at fostering innovation, the Almexoft Polska team, in collaboration with Żabka Polska, launched a pilot project to automate document management in logistics processes.

The project’s goal is to enhance document workflow efficiency using innovative automation technologies based on the no-code Almexoft platform and the AI-powered Document AI module.

Żabka Polska, one of the largest retail chains in Poland, processes thousands of documents daily. Automating document workflow has become a key task, unlocking new opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Challenges and Solutions

The primary objective of the pilot project was to reduce the time spent on document verification and minimize the risks associated with human errors.

To achieve this, the Almexoft team proposed integrating the Document AI platform, developed by our technology partner Google.

Key functionalities implemented in the project for document analysis and processing include:

OCR (Optical Character Recognition)

Automatic conversion of scanned documents into an editable text format with high accuracy, ensuring quick access to essential information and simplifying data processing.

Automatic Field Recognition

Extraction of key attributes such as dates, amounts, and contractor names, significantly reducing data analysis time.

File Comparison

Automated detection of changes between document versions to prevent discrepancies and ensure data consistency.

Electronic Document Card Creation

Development of an interactive registry with structured access to recognized documents.
