Implementation of Almexoft at ADM: Speed, Automation, Integration
ADM (Archer Daniels Midland) is an international agribusiness corporation based in Chicago, USA. One of the global leaders in agricultural product processing and food ingredient supply.

Business Request:
Over 500 employees have been connected to the Almexoft system, using the platform daily for document management, request approvals, and internal process handling. This created a unified digital ecosystem across departments — from procurement to HR.
Objectives:
Automate the contract lifecycle;
Shorten document approval times;
Implement legally binding electronic signatures;
Enable integration with the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system.
Implemented Solutions:
As part of the first implementation phase, a series of key components was introduced.
1. Automated Contract Approval Workflows:
- Flexible approval templates were created depending on contract type, amount or counterparty;
- Parallel and sequential approvals were implemented for different teams;
- Version control and change logs were enabled.
2. Centralized Contract Registry:
- All contracts are stored in a single digital archive with customizable access controls;
- Categories, tags, statuses and filter options (type, counterparty, date, owner, etc.) were configured;
- Reminder alerts for contract expiration and renewals were implemented.
3. Electronic Signature Integration:
- A legally binding electronic signature module was integrated;
- Signing is available from any device via the web interface;
- Signed copies are automatically stored in the system.
4. Integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX:
- Two-way integration with the company ERP was established;
- Contract data (numbers, dates, amounts, counterparties) is automatically transmitted from Almexoft to Dynamics AX upon signing;
- Removed the need for manual data duplication between systems.
